Gulki embodies Neha with remarkable depth, portraying a woman who speaks volumes through her silence and quiet resilience. “Neha doesn’t break—she absorbs, endures, and survives,” says Gulki. “Playing her was both challenging and empowering. Her story is deeply personal and yet universal—it echoes the unheard stories of many women.”
Vivek Dahiya plays Raj, a calm and introspective man still carrying the silent weight of a love he never confessed. “Raj is someone who feels deeply but never loudly,” Vivek reflects. “He’s healing while also recognizing someone else’s pain without trying to fix it. Portraying him required embracing stillness and subtle emotional shifts.”
The chemistry between Gulki and Vivek adds an understated intensity to the screen. Their shared scenes are intimate without being overt, painting a picture of connection shaped by years of silence and suppressed emotion. Vivek shares, “Working with Gulki was incredibly fluid. Every scene felt grounded in real emotion. And Vinit, who played Manoj, brought an intensity that heightened every moment of tension.”
Gulki echoes that sentiment, adding, “This project never felt like just another shoot. It felt like we were telling a story that genuinely matters.”
Hasratein S2: Aankh Micholi stands out not just for its performances, but for its sensitive storytelling. It avoids melodrama, instead choosing to explore themes of love, longing, and liberation with grace and realism.
