In an exclusive conversation with Greenubuntu.com, the Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein actress Sneha Bhawsar opens up about finding love with Devansh Sharma, keeping her relationship private, wedding plans and embracing a peaceful new phase beyond the spotlight after years of portraying romantic stories on screen. She just posted gorgeous pictures from her roka ceremony and for the first time spoke about her fiancé and a lot more here.

Q. Your audience has watched you portray love stories on screen for years, how surreal does it feel to now step into this new chapter in real life?

For me, it’s a very beautiful and emotional feeling. For years, I’ve portrayed love stories on screen, but when the same thing happens in your real life, the feeling is completely different. Sometimes it still feels unreal that I’m living my own love story.

Q. You kept your relationship away from the limelight until now. In a world that constantly demands visibility, why did you choose privacy?

I’ve always preferred keeping my personal life a little private. I feel not every beautiful thing needs to be shown all the time. Some relationships grow not through noise, but through peace… and that’s exactly what we both wanted to protect.

Q. Was there a moment with your partner when you truly felt, “This is my person”?

Yes, but it wasn’t one dramatic moment… it was the little things. The way he understood me, even sensed my silence, somewhere deep inside, I just felt, “Yes, this is my person.”

Q. As someone constantly surrounded by cameras and public attention, what has this relationship taught you about peace and emotional safety?

This relationship has taught me that love is not just excitement, it’s peace too. In the middle of cameras and chaos, having one person become your safe space is a very rare and beautiful feeling.

Q. Your engagement reveal will be the first time everyone sees your partner. Were you nervous or excited about sharing this part of your life publicly?

Honestly, both. I was a little nervous because I’ve always been very protective about my personal life… but I was excited too, because it no longer felt like something I wanted to hide. Sooner or later, the world had to meet the person who is the reason behind my happiness.

Q. What does love look like for you today compared to when you first entered the entertainment industry?

For me, love has always meant understanding, respect, and consistency. That’s how I always saw love… but now that I’m actually in love, it feels far more beautiful than anything I had ever imagined. It feels like I’ve stepped into a colorful and peaceful world.

Q. Between scripts, shoots, and public life, how are both of you planning to protect and nurture this new phase together?

We both understand each other’s work and the kind of lives we live. He feels genuinely happy and proud seeing me work. Whenever I feel demotivated, he motivates me, and whenever I slip into my comfort zone, he always pushes me to do better. He makes me stronger. People often ask me, “Who is the lucky guy?” and I always say, “I am the lucky girl to have him in my life.”

At the same time, because we both have busy lives, we believe that more than just giving time and effort to a relationship, it’s important to understand each other’s work and situations. No matter how busy life gets, we consciously make sure that we grow this phase of our lives with a lot of love and care.

Q. What kind of wedding are you planning? Do you want to keep it intimate or grand?

We want the wedding to feel beautiful and meaningful. Not extremely loud or over the top… but definitely memorable. A celebration filled with love, happiness, good vibes, and our close people around us.

Q. Your looks for all the wedding functions.

I’m honestly very excited about every function look because I’ve always loved dressing up. But for now, if I talk about it, my partner and I are really happy with our roka looks. We chose our outfits from Kzari The Design Studio, beautifully designed by Karishma Hingorani. The entire look felt elegant, classy, and completely like our personalities.

Q. Tell us about him…

We both met in Mumbai because we both live there, but coincidentally, he is from Madhya Pradesh and I belong to Madhya Pradesh as well.

What’s interesting is that even though we belong to the same field, our work is completely opposite. He professionally works behind the camera, while I work in front of it. Just like I’ve mostly done scripted shows, he has mainly worked on reality shows.

In the same way, our way of thinking, our passion towards work, and our decision-making are very similar, our inner personalities are alike, but our outer personalities are completely opposite. I’m like an open book, very talkative, while he’s a great listener. He’s shy, and I’m an extrovert. But like they say… opposites attract.

Our meeting happened very naturally, and slowly, that friendship turned into a beautiful bond. The best part was that from the very beginning, there was comfort and honesty between us.
