Following the initial diagnosis, Dipika Kakar was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for additional tests to determine the nature of the tumor. While preliminary reports suggested the tumor was benign, the couple awaited final confirmation.
The diagnosis has been emotionally taxing for the family, particularly concerning their infant son, Ruhaan, who still relies on breastfeeding. Dipika’s immediate concern upon learning of her condition was the well-being of her child, leading to an emotional response.
