Action, thrill, and a touch of magic bringing a superhero-like character to life on screen is never easy, but for Megha Ray, it has become one of the most exciting parts of her journey. Playing Divya in Sun Neo’s show Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, Megha is constantly pushing her limits with high-energy stunts and action-packed sequences. From facing fears to finding inspiration in iconic superheroes, the actress shares how this experience has transformed her both physically and mentally.
Sharing her experience, Megha Ray said, “Ever since I became Super Aunty in the show, I’ve been doing a new stunt almost every week, and honestly, it has been such an exciting journey. As a child, one of the first superhero movies that really moved me was The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan. His Batman films had a big impact on me. As a teenager, Batman was the superhero who influenced me the most. And now, I feel like I’m actually living that dream in my own way—it’s an amazing feeling.”
She further added, “Apart from that, action sequences come very naturally to me. I don’t find them very challenging because I have had a dancing background since childhood. That really helps me with posture, body language, strength, and quick movements needed for action scenes. Everything action-related that you see in this show is performed by me. I feel like I carry a little bit of inspiration from all the superheroes I’ve watched whether it’s from the Marvel Cinematic Universe like the Avengers, or from Batman. The mask I wear also reminds me a little of him. I also feel inspired by Wanda Maximoff, especially when it comes to the magic element I use. So yes, all these inspirations come together in what I do.”
Talking about fitness and discipline, she said, “I make sure to take good care of my fitness because being physically strong is very important for this kind of work. I try to stay disciplined with my routine and diet as well. These stunts have not only made my role more interesting but have also made me more confident as an actor. Every day feels like a new challenge, and I truly enjoy pushing my limits and discovering a stronger version of myself.”
