The much-anticipated on-screen reunion of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia is finally here with Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera, now airing on Star Plus. Produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah under Studio LSD, the show revives one of television’s most loved pairs in a fresh, emotionally layered narrative.
At the heart of the story are two contrasting individuals—Aparajita, a gifted artist battling deep emotional scars, and Rakshit, a reserved businessman who keeps his feelings closely guarded. As their journeys intertwine, the show delves into themes of love, healing, and quiet resilience.
Opening up about working with Shabir again, Sriti Jha shared, “I don’t know how much I had to unlearn from working together from our previous show, but it is very comfortable to work with Shabir. It’s the most fortunate thing that can happen to any actor, to be working with him. It’s exciting to create another love story with him again. When I got to know that opposite me Shabir is playing the lead, I was happy to do the mock shoot even for a day with him. Nothing could be better.”
Her excitement reflects the natural ease and chemistry the duo shares, something that audiences have cherished over the years and are eager to witness again in a new storyline.
Speaking about her character, Sriti highlighted the emotional complexity that sets Aparajita apart. “The most challenging part is that my character just forgets what’s going on in her life and makes everyone else’s day better. All her sorrows and personal pain take a backseat when family is around her.”
With a blend of emotional depth and heartfelt storytelling, Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera promises to bring back the magic of a beloved pairing while offering a refreshing take on love and human connection.
